As females age and hormonal levels drop, the sebaceous glands begin to atrophy, contributing to drier skin. Jan Marini’s Benzoyl Peroxide Line

P acne bacteria thrives in an oxygen-free environment and feeds on trapped oil in the sebaceous follicle. It then releases a toxic, corrosive fatty acid by-product that works to break down the follicle walls and encourage the leaks and ruptures that produce acne lesions. By reducing the P acne bacteria colonies, the inflammatory process is minimized and clearing of acne lesions is greatly enhanced.

Benzoyl Peroxide 5% and 10% strength is the medication of choice for treating acne. Benzoyl Peroxide is one of the most effective antibacterial agents proven to significantly reduce the presence of P acne bacteria (the bacteria believed to play a primary role in the inflammatory aspect of the acne process). Many physicians and researchers believe the Benzoyl Peroxide, used in conjunction with a skin care management system, is a potent tool to achieve dramatic clearing of acne lesions and prevent changes within the follicle associated with the acne process.

Benzoyl Peroxide Wash assists in thoroughly removing sebum and cellular debris without stripping or excessive dryness. Oily-skinned individuals will appreciate deep cleansing action that leaves the skin feeling scrupulously clean, but soft and smooth.

Teen Clean is the acne solution for adolescent skin concerns. Teen Clean consists of the therapeutic Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% wash, followed by the leave-on Benzoyl Peroxide 5% or 10% lotion. The three-step kit is completed with Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30.

Bases

Loose and Pressed Mineral Powders

Our bases are a concealer, foundation, powder and sunscreen all in one.

No oil, talc, FD&C dyes or parabens.

On clean, moisturized skin, apply the loose powders with our Chisel Powder brush and the pressed with The Handi.

Apply in thin layers. Our bases are concentrated pigment so a little goes a long way!

Because the minerals reflect light, they have a much wider color tolerance than most makeup. You will never see where they begin and end.

Liquid Minerals

Our light-diffusing, soft-focus minerals are now encapsulated with ingredients that can replenish the cellular layers of the epidermis. A boon for all skin types, Liquid Minerals™ makes skin look more youthful, diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles, minimizes pores, evens out skin tone and adheres so well there is minimal transference. You can immediately see and feel the difference in the look and health of the skin

Absence SPF 15 (anti-oil base)

Absence forms an attraction barrier between the skin and makeup so that makeup can stay on longer, and skin stays shine-free. Absence doesn't just absorb oil the way most oil-control products do, but actually helps to control over-active sebaceous glands. It has no effect on the actual moisture of the skin. The seaweed content in this product also helps to regulate the pH balance of the skin. You have to try this to believe it!

If all that isn't enough, Absence also has a broad spectrum SPF 15.

Concealers

Choose from a duo of colors in each pot to obtain the exact skin tone:
Circle\Delete #1 combines a light and medium yellow.
Circle\Delete #2 combines a light and medium peach (especially good for neutralizing blue circles).

Circle\Delete #3 combines a deep yellow and a deep brown.
Contains vitamin K. Vitamin K is thought to repair the blood vessels and act as a skin bleaching agent to help fade hyperpigmentation.

Facial Sprays

D20 Hydration Spritz

• Use to set mineral after makeup has been applied.

Our D2O Hydration Spray with fragrant Ylang Ylang resists evaporation, so it stays on the skin longer, hydrating and plumping up the skin's surface and giving the face a more youthful appearance. D2O contains seaweed extracts to help reduce sebaceous hyper-secretion and regulate the pH of the skin. Botanical extracts of Chamomile and Myrrh act to soothe and refresh irritated skin. Extracts of Olive Leaf, Rosemary Leaf and Grape Seed Extract are anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial. And Ylang Ylang doesn't just have a heavenly scent - it also has a balancing action on the secretion of sebum, is an anti-depressant, a sedative and a supposed aphrodisiac!

Note: It's not a good idea to spray spring water on the face, because most spring waters contain chalk, and that leaves on the skin a white film which is hard to remove.

Balance

LipDrink with SPF 15
This colorless lip balm really is a drink for the lips. It contains no petroleum-derived products which dry out the lips. People who are regular users of petroleum-based lip balms are on a continual drying cycle - the more they use, the drier their lips become.

In a base of macadamia nut oil to which we've added the active sunscreen ingredient of edible zinc oxide for UVB protection. Edible zinc oxide provides an SPF 15 and broad spectrum sunscreen.

Lip Drink also contains the anti-oxidants: green tea extract, Vitamin E and C. The flavor is a mixture of lemon and orange oils. It feels more moist on the lips than a traditional lip balm.

Use Lip Drink alone or layer it on top of a pencil or lip color.

If you're a little leery of Collagen or Restylane lip injections, More Lip™ Lip Plumper will give you that same full pout without the pain.
